Cost Considerations

Portable water filters cost between $150 to $275. Their price is roughly the same as other types of water purification systems (i.e. reverse osmosis, solid carbon filters, and distillation). However, they are much more costly than pitcher water filters and ion exchange systems.

Costs vary greatly by region (and even by zip code). To get free estimates from local contractors, please indicate yours.
